I get excited when it snows early. It makes me feel like I'm back in Syracuse. But without sledding hills and cross-country ski trails, it gets old sooner here. Especially when there's never enough to build a good snowperson (yes, I'm trying to be politically correct). And all you snow-haters out there, just be glad it doesn't snow here in May. Because it does in Syracuse.

So today is basically the first time I've ever seen real snow. I'm from the New Orleans area, so we get the occasional slushie every ten years or so, but basically, this was it. It was about 8:58, and I was going to my 9 o'clock, when all of a sudden this white powder starts drifting down onto me from the direction of the trees (you know, up), and I'm just like, "POLLEN! WHY IS THERE POLLEN IN FALL!"

And then, when I got into class, someone said, "It's snowing already!" and I got it.

SNOW!!! It's snowing!!
Snow is awesome. At least the first snow. Once we start freezing our tooties off, then we can hate it. But until then...

Frosty the Snowman
was a Jolly Happy Soul
with a corncob pipe and a button nose
and two eyes made out of coal...

Yay for snow!
