One book, three looks: Othello in performance
Weinberg’s One Book, One Northwestern festival ended last night with “Othello in Performance.” Professor David Bell showed the audience of 140 how Shakespeare’s play could be interpreted in endless ways, from locker room brawls to bedrooms and brothels.
