And only the dancers remain

DM dancers learn dance moves to Justin Timberlake’s Lovestoned.

The Louis Room speakers have been blasting Euro-techno for the past five minutes, but Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the U.S.A.” ironically enough breaks up the foreign grip on the soundsystem. All the dancers still seem extremely pumped to be doing this.

Over the course of DM’s 30 hours, the dancers have been learning a dance number set to Justin Timberlake’s “Lovestoned.” Each block, the participants would learn another step, and in the end, they would perform the whole dance during the final block. Well, that time came, and the dancers tried their best to execute the poppin’-and-lockin’ routine. The dancers enjoyed it immensly, and many high-fived one another after successfully executing the complex number.

All non-dancers (and media personnel!) have been kicked out of Norris, meaning this is the dancer’s time. A celebrity video featuring NU alum and uber-funny man Stephen Colbert just played on screen, and may have topped the Obama speech. Definitely the funniest moment of the night.
