Student delegate reflects on torture conference
The fourth annual Northwestern Conference on Human Rights came to a close Saturday night leaving many participants both apprehensive and inspired. Student delegate William Zichawo from Vassar College looks to the future with a serious, yet hopeful, mindset. After three days hearing from experts on torture and torture survivors, Zichawo said he is inspired to learn more about the issue of torture, spread his knowledge, and hopefully make a positive impact in the years to come.
