Exploring the Iraq War through student research

By Alexandra Miller

Wait - academics matter?

Yep. So prepare yourself for something just a bit different.

Last quarter the American Studies program had a class, taught by Peter Slevin, about the Iraq War. We’re working with students in that class to turn their research about the conflict into multimedia projects exploring the war.

Weinberg senior Alexandra Miller wrote and researched the first piece, which looks at urban and rural support for the war. We adapted her work for this feature. Click on the tabs to explore more.

Multimedia production by Mindy Zacharjasz. Design by Paul Schrodt. Edited by Jason Plautz and Tom Giratikanon.

  1. Ah, good post - gave me something decent to read while I am bored at work. I’ll have to check your site out more often :) Thanks!
