Since people pretty much agree The Simpsons sucks now, there’s a good chance you missed last night’s opening sequence in favor of something more thrilling, like the Bears game or a nap. Shame, because you missed the classic show (now in its 19th season – damn, it’s one year younger than me) actually reference the surprisingly good movie about the show that hit theaters this summer. If you skipped out on The Simpsons Movie – shame on you, and don’t watch this because it will spoil the movie for you.

In other animated news, Family Guy’s season premiere was an hour-long Star Wars parody! Never seen that done before.
