I personally think this is wrong, had my employer asked me for that information and refused to give me a job on my decline, they’d be getting the finger and I’d be walking out. What rights do they have to demand access to your personal life, certainly there must be some laws against this. Or what if I don’t have a facebook or myspace account, are they going to use that against me as well like im not a social person and have no friends. That isn’t true to the slightest. This whole issue is strikingly immoral and just goes to show how no matter how tight you think the law is there is always some way for an unlawful action to be done legally.
