The Northwestern Wildcats men’s basketball team kicks off the regular season tonight at Welsh-Ryan Arena against #20 Stanford. NU beat the University of Chicago in an exhibition game last week, while the Cardinal are 3-0, all of them real wins that count. If the Wildcats ever want to crash the NCAA Tournament, a win against a ranked squad wouldn’t be a bad way to start the season. But then again…this is Northwestern.
