Evanston Now, a site for community news and information, released an interactive crime map showing incidents reported daily to the Evanston Police Department.

The filters allow you to search for crimes by date or type. For example, you can look for all thefts that were reported last week. Click on the map markers to view the exact address and details of the crime. The map only includes crimes that occurred after December 26, 2007.

On Monday there were 13 crimes reported, including one theft at 1745 Sherman Ave., just a few blocks from the Northwestern campus.
