Swahili-Speaking Giraffe

Patrick St. Michel is probably going to be upset that I’m posting to the Cute Animals Blog. He’s taking a Swahili mid-term today, which is, I imagine, the only reason why he hasn’t already posted five blog items. Regardless, I know he carries his laptop around with him wherever he goes and it’s always set on North By Northwestern; he’ll see this instantly. He warned me that this blog was only for the cutest and the cuddliest of animals. Well, I think I found something: A Swahili-Speaking Giraffe.

Ok, so it doesn’t actually talk. But if it could, it would definitely speak Swahili; Giraffes are native to that section along the Indian Ocean in East Africa where all of a handful of people actually take the time to learn Swahili and even then they only do it to, you know, communicate with other people. It’s the part, Patrick, I know you will never visit. Making your mid-term useless; get back to blogging. Regardless, use this guy for inspiration and, when you get an A, I want an apology for doubting my cute animal-finding skills.

  1. You know, you’ve impressed me…this is a cute giraffe. Good work. Regardless of whether it speaks Swahili or not (quite the challenging language, by the way), it overflows with adorableness, and I don’t say that often. With that said, it certainly did not help me do well on my test. Good try though
