Tattoo runs on blood, kills iPhone
Where could Apple possible take the iPhone next? How about embedding the thing in one of your biceps!? Lovely idea!
Jim Meikle has come up with a concept for a blood-powered tattoo that sits just beneath the skin. The proposed tattoo is inserted as a tiny cylinder and then – in what would seem like a few days of extreme pain and agony – “unfurls beneath the skin to align between skin and muscle.”
The tattoo is powered by a blood fuel cell that converts glucose and oxygen into electricity. Somehow, it can potentially grab enough power to function as a touchscreen cell phone display due to its built-in Bluetooth chip.
But Jim, what are the health risks? Cancer? Heart disease? None? Really? Apparently, the tattoo could actually monitor for blood disorders before they become a problem.
So, is this the new iPhone killer? Maybe, if it doesn’t kill the user first.

At least you won’t lose your phone. Placed in a cool sleeve tattoo, that phone could come in handy. I still like my iphone though.
