Members of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity painted today’s Rock to advertise their BASEketball Tournament this Saturday, at 1 p.m. in the Blomquist Recreation Center. Proceeds benefit the DeKalb/Sycamore Community Memorial Fund.

From the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce Web site: “The fund was established by the DeKalb and Sycamore chambers of commerce in conjunction with the DeKalb County Community Foundation following [the] tragic shooting on the NIU campus.” Organizers plan to use the fund for some type of community memorial.
