NU in 60 seconds: March 4

By Laura Ashbaugh

What you need to know to live your life today.

What to do:

  1. Get your NPR fix: Head over to Harris 108 at 5:15 p.m. to hear NPR gurus Alex Kotlowitz and Joe Richman share their knowledge of the industry.
  2. Start panicking about DM: In many countries, DM would be considered a torture device.
  3. Regain confidence in the world: Take a study break and check out our Cute Animal Blog. With kittens like those, who cares that Dean Lavine is still behind his desk?

What to know:

  1. The trials and tribulations of canning for DM: Apparently some people would rather run you over than give you change.
  2. Bye bye Bienen: President Bienen announced he’ll retire in August 2009. Seems unlikely that Lavine is next.
  3. Make a movie: Figure out how to break into Hollywood, thanks to the school’s film graduates.
