This article was one of the best-written things I’ve read in a long time. I cannot agree more when you say coming to Northwestern was “the best guess.” We all took a shot in the dark and I think it paid off in the end, because we end up loving this fucking place! This article really hit home. Northwestern didn’t turn out to be the same as what I imagined, and there’s so much more I have to deal with than I ever expected– but that’s what makes it REAL, and what makes it so much better than any “northwestern experience” I could have dreamed up. The reality of Northwestern is truly something that can’t be predicted or explained, and its all the better because of that. I mean, who wants to already have all of their best moments figured out anyway?
