GuiltE! Pleasures: Keeping Up With the Kardashians
By
Recap: Kardashian Civil War
Tonight, Kim realized her childhood dream–that’s right, Playboy wasn’t it. No, tonight, Kim bought her first Bentley (something she’s apparently wanted since she was, “like three.”), and she brought her sisters along to share her happiness.
Unfortunately, the less-famous, less-wealthy Kourtney and Khloe were less-enthusiastic than Kim and quickly tired of hearing the word “Bentley” over and over. When the car wasn’t ready on time, hott-headed Khloe flipped out on the owner of the car lot in her usual profane fashion. When Kim dubbed this action “immature” and apologized to the owner, Kourtney and Khloe (who are closer to each other than they are to Kim, because, let’s face it, she’s a stuck up brat ever since that sex tape) decided she was “unloyal” and shunned her. Seriously, they practically excommunicated her.
The united sisters escaped to brother Rob’s apartment to further bash Kim for the E! cameras. Of course though, Kim soon arrived at the apartment to have her side of the story heard and to pretend to make amends. Khloe put her masculine build to use by literally slamming the door in Kim’s face (the look of shock on Kim’s part alone makes the episode a must-see).
Some tears and arguments with mama Kris later, the sisters decide to meet up for coffee to work things things out. Unfortunately, apology sessions don’t really work so well when you have a mega-brat like Kim who completely refuses to say sorry.
So the episode ends with the Jenner parents deciding that the best solution to the girls not speaking to one another is (of course!) a ski trip. There’s a killer To Be Continued… Oh, and Bruce is having like a mid-life crisis and Kris got the younger half-Kardashian girls’ names tatooed on her flabby mom-back. But who cares, really?
The Like, Super Opinion Thing!
The Kardashian sisters may not have much to offer the world. Beyond the big butts and dark beauty (if you’re into what Joel McHale regularly describes as a certain “dead behind the eyes” look), however, is something more. A fabulous knack for drama.
Unlike many reality shows of it’s kind, which rely heavily on contrived situations and producer-directed scenes, there’s an element of actual reality in Keeping Up With the Kardashians–you can’t script the bratty ignorance the girls exude at every turn.
It’s one thing to see them direct their snobby attempts at wit at strangers and hired help, it’s quite another to see it turned on the home team. The men on the series continue to be the level-headed ones (even though Rob dates a Cheetah girl and aspires to be a male model), but that just cuts into their screen time. Definitely a must-see episode, and if you missed it, no worries, E! reruns everything about 7,000 times.

i think ur soap opera is the best in along while.I watch the series every sunday night and thursday night, i dont know if your doing it just for the cameras, but anyway its still good.I love the fact how as a family you stick together and work together it is good that you have support not only in your boyfriends but in family aswel. No matter what happens just remember that your family loves you.As sisters i think you guys have help kim out in the stigma that society has place on her.I have a burning question, but cannot ask right know.I am just testing out this to see if it actually works. If you get this message please send back an email so that i can get your help.Thank u
