Get your facts straight. Back in the 16th century the land belonged to Ottoman Empire and was relinquished after defeat in WWI. It then became part of the British Empire and per UN Resolution 181 was transfered to the government of what is Israel today.

The land was never "taken away" from the countries that attacked Israel in 1948. The new Israelis were fighting a war after being INVADED by 5 armies.</description>
