I remember playing IM women's softball when I went to NU back in the late 70's. I was such a non-athlete, but I was on a team filled with athletes. We won the championship. I kept my t-shirt for almost 20 years. Now I play in a co-ed league, on a team with my two college age sons. I am a better player, though slower. (we have won the championship for two years in a row now. Next year we want t-shirts rather than trophies.) But most of all, I am having the time of my life. In a way, it brings back the memories and feelings of my college days. Enjoy them, they are the best of times.

"And yes, a double with two throwing errors counts as a home run."

When I read this I just had to laugh. I have been working with IM leagues on a Marine Corp base for several years now and you probably would not be amazed at how many times I see this type of "homerun"..Yet, the guys are so freakin' serious, it's amazing!
