GuiltE! Pleasures: Keeping Up With the Kardashians

By Kayleigh Roberts

Recap: Kardashian Civil War Part II
In the riveting conclusion to the two-part mega-feud between Kim and sisters Kourtney and Khloe. If you remember, last week the girls got catty when Kim went to buy her first Bentley and *GASP* didn’t defend Khloe’s bitch-tastic rant against the car dealer for his less-than-prompt service. Tonight, Kris decided a ski trip would help everyone kiss and make up. Oh to be filthy rich; when my sister and I fought, my mom sent us to the basement together, not the mountains. Kris’ plan didn’t pan out as she intended (but, really, when do they ever?) and the family continued to gang up on Kim, except now in a location from which she couldn’t escape.

After a lot of crying and some cell phone tossing, Kim decided she was going home. Unfortunately, things like finding a bus station and waiting for a bus are really hard and Kim decided to go back to the lodge for a heart-warming reconciliation with her sisters (say it with me now, “Awwwwwwwww”).

In Bruce news, the midlife crisis continues in the form of “guys’ night” with 20-something ski instructors and slicked back Dracula hair.

The Like, Super Opinion Thing!
The episode was good, but a little anti-climactic. After the big blow out and girl slapping in Part I, I was expecting more than a cell phone toss and a teary tantrum in the bedroom. I was expecting violence, hair pulling, maybe even blood. There was a lot of whining and name-calling and crying, but the fight ended pretty abruptly and the episode fizzled out. I must say though, I did — for once — feel bad for Kim..Khloe is one scary, big-boned girl and Kourtney kind of resembles a rat when she’s pissed. I wouldn’t want them ganging up on me.
