Well done Ben! You give a thorough, fair, and comprehensive review of the happenings from this past summer. And what a wild one it was, looking back now. It'd be interesting to hear more of your take on the $700 billion bailout Congress is likely to push through this week.

Our economy truly is like a soggy cheerio floating like a porous raft in a sea of milk. No one wants anything to do with it. No one knows what to do with it. So what do we do??? We pour more cheerios into the bowl to forget about the soggy cheerio; however, the problems of the economy still remain and the soggy cheerio is left again, to float, and absorb more milk.
