According tech blogs across the world wide web, it looks like Apple might be getting ready to release new Macbooks in the near future. The evidence?

• A slew of supposedly leaked photos of the new Macbooks such as the one above.
• Mac placeholder markers spotted at an Apple Store
• Recent descriptions of the new Macbooks by people who supposed saw them

The photo above looks pretty convincing because the design of the Macbook is pretty much in line with what Apple’s iMac and iPhone designs look like. And as Wired points out, why is there a dock in the trackpad? Does that mean it’s a multitouch screen in the trackpad? That’d be cool. But when does anything cool like that ever come out? Pretty much never. Le sigh.
