Someone hold me. I’m weak at the knees. Yes, key scenes in Michael Bay’s new, giant robot clusterfuck will be shot on 75mm IMAX film. Just like those six sequences in The Dark Knight, you’ll be treated to several instances of complete robot overload. Scenes that are going to be shot on regular 35mm film will still be in letterbox, which will again force the movie’s aspect ratio to change throughout the film.

While IMAX may help me forget Bay’s knack of “I’m-not-really-able-to-tell-a-meaningful-story,” it certainly can’t save us from Shia Lebeouf’s ever so brilliant dialogue.
