Palin acts like The New Yorker, calls Obama a terrorist

Sarah Palin doesn’t think Barack Obama is a terrorist, just that he hangs around “with terrorists who target their own country.” She made the accusations yesterday, following the release of a New York Times article that acknowledged that Obama had worked with the founder of a terrorist group in the past.

The basis of her allegation comes from meetings the candidate had with Bill Ayers, a founder of the terrorist group Weather Underground. Unfortunately, Palin read the New York Times wrong. The Times said that while the men had met, they did not seem to have been close. She also apparently forgot that Obama was 8 years old when Ayers committed his terrorist actions.

To be clear: both men live in Hyde Park, and Obama claims that he ran into him last year. But living in the same neighborhood in Chicago does not make you besties.

This is just another desperate attempt by the McCain campaign to draw attention from the failing economy in light of slipping poll numbers. Basically, Palin can’t talk about her own policies–she doesn’t have any–or Obama’s policies–she doesn’t understand them–so she tries to question his moral character. Politics as usual?

Unfortunately you have not done your research. There is a lot of history between Obama and Ayers. This article summarizes a lot of the interrelatedness which extends to money, donations, being on boards together, Ayers making Obama chairman of the board of an organization that Ayers cosponsored. http://corner.nationalreview.com/post/?q=ZWI0MjY3NzMyODgxZGM2ZjUwNTE1MmEzOGRiZmFkNWE=
Obama reviewed Ayers book positively and it is a radical book on juvenile crime suggesting that we abolish all prisoners since the country is sick not the criminals. Each of you owe it to yourselves to look into this issue with due diligence and not just believe what makes you comfortable.

You forgot to mention that Barak Obama kicked off his political life at a fundraiser GIVEN to Obama by WILLIAM AYRES at the Ayres home. Now, why, unless you are a BIASED REPORTER, did you NOT MENTION THIS FACT?

Hi, we’re the McCain campaign and we’re desperate to talk about ANYTHING but the economy. ANYTHING.

Obama lied about those Purple Hearts he got in Vietnam.

Oh, yeah, he was eight years old then, too. But … well … HE’S A JERK AND HE HATES YOU! WHAAAH! MOMMY!! HELP!! WE’RE NOT SPOSED TA LOSE!!

SHAME ON YOU Sarah Palin. This is appalling. You know better. An acquaintance does not equal a pal. Don’t you have the guts to edit the script that is handed to you? I am so disappointed in you. You’ve sunk to a new low.

Actually, Obama started off his political career in the living room of William Ayers. This is the youtube video Obama doesn’t want America to see! It shows the connection between William Ayers (terrorist) and Barack Hussein Obama. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEeHl0h3NBo

Please America, listen up. Draw the commonalities between the young Castro offering equality for everyone and then taking over as a dictator and yes, everyone is equal, equally poor. If Obama were white given his associations with radicals, racists, etc. he would not even be on the ticket. Put McCains face on Obama’s past and you will have a much different perspective of who you are turning over the keys to the country too. Please, don’t vote selfishly. Obama cannot deliver on his promises, it’s mathmatically improbable and likely impossibile. Think of your investments, think of the taxes, think of redistribution of wealth, think of his dangerous policies on foreign affairs. Please. November 4th could be the last we see of a democracy in this country if the American people don’t stop voting for charm and color.

I think that all this has been taken too far. Obama has done more than just met this Bill Ayers. Although, they did work together to better the schools in Chicago, people change. Although it doesn’t seem right, Obama shouldn’t be looked down on because he’s been working with a well known professor and the University of Illinois. People need to change, and so does America, and that’s what Obama is, he’s different, his ideas are different, he’s the change America needs.
