Today I feel like you did in 2007. Two weeks ago I was struck by a car as I was running, training for a marathon. Luckily the hit was not that bad and an ambulance was not called but I did go to the hospital to get checked out. I did not think I hit my head that hard and a cat scan was taken showing no clots and all looking fine. But, I have been suffering headaches for the past two weeks and have not ran since. The marathon is in 4 weeks and I want to run it. Yes, I still have headaches but not as bad as before. I think it will be okay since the initial cat scan checked out but I am concern about the costant bouncing of the head while running. I am not a fast runner and my initial goal was to finish in 4:30, I don't think I can still do that. I want to run this marathon so badly, the training, the hours, the commitment, the time, the pain while training. Every ounce of me want's to run and I think I should not do it. Those around me are not runners to the point I am so I don't think they understand the stress and I will say depression that I am feeling.
