Politically-savvy students bring the campaign trail to the Arch

By Alyssa Karas

Look below, and you’ll see Northwestern students that are hoping to watch their political activism translate into something meaningful — whether it’s a win, an improvement or a social movement.

Sure, students might not have loads of money to donate, but they’re still giving plenty of time and energy phone-banking, barbecuing, canvassing, flyering and Facebooking. Whereas Students for Obama is concentrating its efforts out-of-state, Students for McCain plans on phone-banking and offering Northwestern’s less-than-conservative campus an alternative.

Just scroll over each campus activist to find out more.

  1. Students for Obama is not affiliated with Northwestern University. The name of our organization does not include Northwestern and all activities are done independent of the University.
