		<description>yeah, at least people are still getting shot. whew! thank goodness. i live on the edge of the CD now, after growing up in Brooklyn, NY and Oakland, CA, two places that have always been rife with gangs and violence. I think it&#039;s incredibly naive, ignorant, and foolish to think that these things make a neighborhood better. Showing nostalgia for assault and drug-crime shows that you&#039;ve never been the victim of either of these things. Gentrification isn&#039;t always a positive thing, but any day, I&#039;ll take safety on the streets over urban blight, violence, and living in constant fear.</description>
