Introducing…a Twitter (with bonus birds)
I’m sure you’ve heard about the social networking site Twitter at some point in the last year. Maybe you stumbled across it while killing time online one day. Maybe one of your journalism pals told you about it, because every reporter in the world apparently views Twitter as the second-coming of community journalism and loves to talk about it. Maybe you have friends who absolutely detest Twitter, people who will tell you how pointless the site is and how nobody cares what you are doing at this very second. They probably don’t understand that it’s possible to, you know, just not look at it and let the people who use Twitter enjoy it.
Well, Cute Animal Blog is proud to throw its hat into the Twitter-verse, as we are proud to unveil our Cute Animal Blog Twitter. With this, we hope to give you even more adorable animal videos and pictures alongside the daily post here on NBN. Plus, if you have a Twitter account, you can talk to us about what animals you want to see or whether that last post was even cute at all. A fun little addition and hey, nothing wrong with more animals.
To celebrate our Twitter, I’ve got some bird videos for you. Twitter boasts a very loose bird theme, and every post you make on your account is called a “tweet.” This is clearly the most detestable part of the site, because calling a post a “tweet” isn’t just stupid, it borders on psychotic. If you were out in public with someone talking about “their Tweets,” wouldn’t you notify the nearest law enforcement official to arrest said person? Terrible name, but you gotta work with what you got. Here’s a video of chickens busting up a rabbit fight.
Here’s a bird doing tricks, set to some soar-worthy music.
Next up, Mango, described as “the funniest bird on EARTH.” Agree or disagree? Hey, you can share on our Twitter! Thanks, Internet.
Finally, baby penguins.
