I think these rankings are pretty good. Except, there should have been some negative adjectives for some houses, but whatever.

Hi Anonymous,

Thank you for your opinion on the Recruitment Guide. The three adjectives that show up are controlled by our readers. You choose an adjective to describe each chapter, and the three most selected adjectives show up. As of a few hours ago, there had been approximately 1,000 votes.

This 'recruitment guide' is both irresponsible and inappropriate. While not explicitly saying that the guide is fact, by associating these ideas with the reputation of NBN, it implies truth. The three ideas in the upper right corner are not the result of a poll, or at least not one with a sample size large enough to merit publication. Rather, the authors probably just polled a few of their friends, and wrote down whatever they said. How can a chapter be both shy AND social? Why do readers get so many more choices for sororities than fraternities? And what is appropriate about publishing sorority dues? I'm sorry NBN, but there should be a distinguishing characteristic between you and one of the gossip blogs, and I really don't see that.

Wait, I don't understand this. How do you rush if you haven't gone to events all week? Or can you even if you haven't been able to make it? Where do people even get these questions answered?

I love how the means of evaluation meant to 'guide' us in recruitment are the number of people, what kind of grades they get, and whatever three words any asshole wants to say about them. Oh, and a lovely picture of a brick building.
