I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of Medill graduates end up doing or have already done what Lacombe is doing. I think it's a common misconception when you apply to Medill that if you love writing, you'll also love journalistic writing. But the two are really very different. A love for writing doesn't always translate into a love for journalism. This is interesting. It's an interesting profile, but NBN always tacks on too much of this sycophantic superfluocity. The guy's book is self published and you're going by total Amazon reviews as a metric for popularity? Come on.
