The key to beating the late night Burger King monotony

Northwestern Ink shot the sheriff, drank your milkshake, saw the sign and definitely knew that Bruce Willis was actually dead in The Sixth Sense. It’s our weekly Web comic, and it rocks.

  5. Dear c, sigh and the illustrious Elizabeth Stratton,

I am so sorry that this comic did not live up to your champagne wishes and caviar dreams. I sincerely hope that you didn’t have to take a break from something really important, like masturbating to the New Yorker, to read this online comic by Matthew Leib.

The Internet, and anonymity, makes it so easy to be an asshole. I think people forget that these are students just trying to do some earnest work. They have midterms, finals, Keg Mondays, hangovers, job searches and so much more going on. When they commit to doing a weekly comic or whatever, obviously some weeks it’ll be better than others.

Have you not seen the Blackboard Academic Suite comic? That was hilarious. Or the one about the Demetri Martin tickets? Spot-on. And the one with the fall leaves was beautiful. Okay, this one wasn’t as great as those, but it was not “awful” or an “epic fail.” So lighten up. Take your genitals out of the New Yorker, go outside, and enjoy this beautiful weather.

    Sincerely,
    Your Sunday reality check
