Students work on zombie musical film

This weekend, Communication senior Andrew Walker filmed his senior directing project People of None Effect, a post-apocalyptic zombie musical. Crew members were on set for upwards of 45 hours on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and were called as early as 6 a.m. However, due to the rain on Sunday, the set wrapped sooner than expected.

“What we need is a Gungan force field like in Episode One,” producer Matt Litwiller said Sunday, after finding out that zombie makeup would wash off in the rain.

Because of the rain, shooting was not finished this weekend, and a pick up day had to be scheduled for later in the week.

We followed the cast and crew of People of None Effect this weekend to get a feel for what life is like on a film set — especially when the cast is undead.
