Penn Masala sings at SASA show

SASA sponsored a performance by Penn Masala this past weekend. Formed at the University of Pennsylvania in 1996, Penn Masala is the country’s first South Asian a cappella group. In 2007, they performed at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts with A.R. Rahman, who won two Academy Awards for his work on Slumdog Millionaire. They are currently promoting their sixth album, “On Detours,” and are available on iTunes.

Filmed by Hannah Fraser-Chanpong. Edited by Nick Castele.
