Just had to point it out though--one reason students may have poor school spirit is that Northwestern is often "bashed" in a way by media--it is clearly put in a different light than other similar schools, mostly because of its lack of success on the field/court. As a result of this, media outlets, most notably ESPN, tends to overlook our athletes. The biggest subject of this, in my opinion, has been the great Kevin Coble. ESPN has found some interesting ways to mispronounce a relatively simple name. Great article, good points.
