AEPi serves up hot dogs and humanitarianism

This week, members of Alpha Epsilon Pi are selling hot dogs at the Rock and outside of Tech for their annual Dog Days fundraiser, which benefits the American Cancer Society and Chai Lifeline.

Here are the highlights (obligatory hot dog suit included), in photos.

  1. I find it incredibly ironic that they sold hot dogs to benefit the American Cancer Society, because don’t hot dogs cause cancer with all their carcinogens?

Then again, it does make sense. Without cancer patients, there would be no cancer society, so I guess it does benefit American Cancer Society.

  2. Actually, you’d have to eat 12 hot dogs a month for years in order for there to be an actual risk. Yes, hot dogs have carcinogens. No, no amount of hot dogs you eat over a four day period will have a serious effect

  3. Hot Dog boy annoys me greatly. He said, from the top of the rock, that if no one buys a hot dog, he would jump to his miserable death.

I did what I could for the cause and passed up on the hot dogs, which admittedly smelled delicious.

  6. The post preceding mine proves that catering to the lowest common denominator still works.

Greasy pig meat and AEPi boys, how tantalizing. Excuse me as I go vomit in the stairwell of Bobb.
