I definitely believe in long distance relationships. I’ve been in one for over three years, and even though we’re both successful and happy in our respective places we can’t wait to live in the same place for more than just a summer vacation. SO WORTH IT!!!! :)

somehow i just happened across this article and just felt like saying it’s great. really well written and just awesome. the parallel story thing and the quotes from psychologists really work and i think this is one of the best student pieces i’ve read in a really long time. kudos.

So, I was sitting at my summer internship with nothing to do and decided (after I had exhausted Facebook of course) to check NorthByNorthwestern. I have no idea why I have just seen this article until today. All I can say is that I am sitting here crying because it is so on-point with everything I’ve been feeling with my own relationship, but haven’t been able to put into words. It’s nice to know there are others out there who have been feeling the same way I have. Thank you Lisa for your indirect advice and your beautifully written article.
