Addendum to “73 poems”
an i and a you
once crossed
legs and threads
on a bridge
conversed in
foreign languages
(to all but me and you and
the flea markets)
sang stanzas inaudible
(to all but the other mes and
yous and even they had
lost some words)
followed the cobblestone
(around the thems of
summers past and beside
our meandyou)
once was
a meeting of whomsandwhos
as we passed under the bridge
with the other mes and yous.
