With so many ways to share information, Northwestern has gone a-Twitter over the commotion surrounding the growing online social media network. Various Twitter accounts allow online users to connect to campus news sites, academic resources, student groups and more. Although some accounts are affiliated with the university and others are independent or unofficial, it seems all of Northwestern is tweeting.

- @MedillontheHill spreads national news headlines reported by Medill graduate students in D.C. Typical Tweet: Rep. Hoyer calls Martha Coakley’s defeat “a defeat for all (Dems)” at job creation forum

- @NU_Sports updates fans with all official information relating to NU athletics. Typical Tweet: Northwestern men’s tennis upsets No. 18 Alabama, 4-3, to improve to 3-0. Next up: William & Mary Sunday @ 10 a.m. at Combe Tennis Center.
