North by Northwestern is one of Northwestern University’s best online publications, updated around the clock with stories about campus and culture. In Spring 2008, we launched a print magazine. Both online and off, we report the truth, tell stories and have fun.
We started over the summer of 2006 because we wanted to do online journalism and there was no place for it at Northwestern. Although the campus media landscape has changed since then (and we’ve gone from a nonprofit to a Northwestern registered student organization!), this is still a site where we can talk about what’s actually on our minds, share our passions and explore new forms of multimedia journalism.

We’re always looking for new writers, editors, photographers, videographers, multimedia producers, designers, social media managers, marketers and businesspeople.
