North by Northwestern is NU’s best online publication, updated around the clock with stories about campus and culture. For Spring 2008, we’re also launching a print magazine. Both online and off, we report the truth, tell stories and have fun.

We started over the summer of 2006 because we wanted to do online journalism and there was no place for it at Northwestern. This is a site where we can talk about what’s actually on our minds, share our passions and have a conversation with our readers.

Over the past two years, we’ve been honored with 16 Mark of Excellence awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, and are a finalist this year for the National Online Pacemaker Awards.
