Four iPads and $1,800 worth of equipment in the Alumni room were recently stolen from Norris University Center, according to an email sent to Norris employees by Michael McKean, assistant director of event production at Norris, as reported by NNN.
The thefts occurred in the last 48 hours, according to the email, in which McKean urged employees to “be on the lookout for anything or anyone who looks out of the ordinary,” “lock offices and rooms after you leave them” and to tell those who leave valuables unattended to take the valuables with them. A student's laptop was also stolen.
Two trespassers have been “taken into custody,” McKean said in the email.
This story will be updated with more details as they emerge.
