The Northwestern class of 2014 will get its first chance to see their undefeated Wildcats in action Saturday morning during the first home game of the 2010-2011 school year. Northwestern will take on a Midwest foe, the Central Michigan Chippewas (2-1), at Ryan Field with kick-off scheduled for 11 a.m. CST. In honor of the first home game of the school year, Saturday’s match up has also been declared Evanston Day. Residents can attend the game with half-price tickets (if purchased in advance) and the weekend’s festivities began Thursday night with the Paint Evanston Purple pep rally at Fountain Square in downtown Evanston.
If you can’t make it up to Ryan Field for the game, tune into our live blog coverage, beginning at 10:30 a.m. CST, and follow us as we follow what could be the most competitive game of the Wildcat season thus far.
