NU gets more ED apps, takes slightly fewer students

NU’s early decision applications rose 16.9 percent this year to 1,531, from 1,310 last year, according to the admissions office.
Northwestern took 561 students early for the Class of 2012, six fewer than before, pushing the ED acceptance rate down to about 37 percent.
