A true “Icon,” Jaden Smith will headline A&O Blowout 2019, the student organization's biggest concert of the year. Smith is known for not only his unique music, covering rap, hip-hop, alternative, rock and indie, but also his creative endeavors in film, fashion and philanthropy. He released his second studio album, ERYS, in July.

The show will also feature Scottish electronic artist and producer SOPHIE as the opener. Her 2018 album Oil of Every Pearl's Un-Insides received a nomination for best dance/electronica album at this year's Grammy Awards. She has also produced popular songs like “Yeah Right” by Vince Staples, who headlined A&O Ball earlier this year, in addition to producing for Madonna, Kim Petras and Charlie XCX.

Admission to the concert is free for the first time, and tickets can be found at the Norris Box Office or on its website. The concert will take place at the Welsh-Ryan Arena basketball court on Sat., Oct. 5. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and the show will begin at 8:15 p.m. Transportation to and from the venue will be available on campus.
