Mayfest Productions has announced the third and final artist for Digital Dillo 2020: punk rock band The Regrettes.

The Los Angeles-based band was formed in 2015 by frontwoman Lydia Night, guitarist Genessa Gariano, bassist Sage Chavis and drummer Maxx Morando. According to Consequence of Sound, the band's 2017 debut album Feel Your Feelings Fool! "championed the idea that it’s much more freeing to be open about all the things everyone feels but never likes to admit to feeling." The band dropped its second album, How Do You Love?, in 2019.

Mayfest thought the band, which "puts an emphasis on women empowerment in a Powerpuff Girls trifecta style," would be the perfect opener for Digital Dillo.

"They’re cute, fun and loving, but also fearlessly badass," said Mayfest Bookings Committee member Amirah Ford and Bookings Committee Shadow Ethan Shanfeld in a statement. "Traditionally, at their live shows, the band calls for a girls-and-non-binary-folks-only mosh pit. Here, the fellas take a step back and other bodies are given the chance to be elevated and to well, rock out."

The Regrettes complete the first ever Digital Dillo lineup, following the announcement of EDM artist Jai Wolf and rapper Rico Nasty. The virtual event will take place via livestream starting at 1:30 p.m. CST on May 30. More details are available on Mayfest's Facebook page.
